Welcome to the 12th Masonic District, Free and Accepted Masons web-portal, where Larry D. Moody (Pocahontas #7), is DDGM, Joseph Diggs Sr (Mt. Nebo #43) and Darrin L. Hill (Mt. Nebo #43) are ADDGMs (pictured left).
This website has been created for the purpose of helping everyone search for information about the lodges of the 12th as well as helpful information about Prince Hall Virginia Freemasonry.
There is no secret about who we are and what we do. We are good men trying to improve our lives through faith, hope, and charity. We help our communities, fellowman, serve our country, and protect our families.

Mission/Vision
The three principle tenants of our profession are three-fold, including the inculcation and pratice of those truly commendable virtues: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. Our goals are to promote inclusiveness, exemplify genuine love and appreciation for our fellow man, to be good neighbors within our communities, to dispense charity where needed, and to be role models to our youth by promoting upright moral values.

In order to become a member of a Lodge you must have two Master Masons vouch for your character and recommend you into our Craft. You also have to be a man, 18 years old or older, of good character, and believe in a God that promotes peace, love, and harmony towards all mankind. These are some of the basic requirements for membership into our Fraternity.
Membership is for men who meet the qualifications and standards of character and reputation, who are of good moral character, and who believe in the existence of a supreme being.
The doors of Freemasonry are open to men who seek harmony with thier fellowman, feel the need for self-improvement and wish to participate in make this world a better place to live.
