Message from the DDGM
First Giving All Honor to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Brethren, It is with deep gratitude and pride that I thank each of you for your support during the 5th year that you have allowed myself, Joseph Diggs (ADDGM), and Darrin Hill (ADDGM) to serve you in this Twelfth Masonic District.
The trust and confidence that you have shared with the MWPHGL indicating your desire that I and the my two ADDGMs would continue to execute those duties and responsibilities of our positions indicates an overwhelming outpouring of your love and confidence bestowed upon us. We are very grateful, for surely you could have committed your trust and confidence in someone else.
It is hoped and expected that our goal will be to continue to serve you as you desire, while we continue to work together as well as we have in the past......Thanks To Each and Everyone of YOU!......Larry Moody #7 - DDGM.

Announcements
Congratulations to DDGM Larry Moody and the Lodges of the 12th, the 12th Masonic District was awarded "Large District of the Year 2011-2012" for the jurisdication of Virginia at the 136th MWPHGL-VA Session.
Please keep PGM Larry Christian in your prayers on the recent passing of his mother November 1, 2011
DSAC will be providing food and refreshments November 5, 2011 at PHS's home football game, Please come out and support.
- The Rotary Club of Petersburg will be renting the Temple on December 8th to “Feed the Hungry”;all brethren please come out in support of this event.
- St. John the Evangelist Day: December 18th, Tabernacle Baptist Church Petersburg, VA (Rev. Diggs #43)..all brethren are asked to assemble at the church by 2:15pm.
- #15 will be marching in the 2011 Chester Christmas Parade, date - TBD, more information will be provided by WM. L. Sorden as soon as possible.
- Operation Santa Claus 2011, donations are requested from all lodges in the district, additional donations are requested from each member of the 12th and additional donations are encouraged from the community, please contact PM Gordon as soon as possible.
- DDGM L. Moody is encouraging more participation from all lodges in the 2012 Jewel contest.

Congratulations to Mt. Nebo #43, Mt. Nebo was awarded "1st Place Jewel Contest" winner 2011-2012" in the district of Virgina during the the 136th MWPHGL-VA Session.
